Kosher Bagels Supreme is a family-owned and operated business founded by Manuel A. Branco. He was born in Murtosa, Portugal in 1944. At the age of 18, he immigrated to Venezuela where he began working as a baker. In 1967, Manuel came to the United States of America in search of a better life. He worked at My Mother's Bakery in Newark, New Jersey until January 1969. Afterward, he worked at Watson Bagels in Irvington, New Jersey where he learned the craft of bagel making.  Manuel managed Elmora Bagels in Elizabeth, New Jersey from 1969 through 1982. In 1983 Mr. Branco opened Kosher Bagels Supreme and has been proudly serving the Springfield community for nearly four decades.

Manuel has been building his knowledge and expertise of bagels in a suburban community that respects and appreciates fresh quality made bagels from hand-selected ingredients which are made fresh daily.
